Also supporting this initiative is the Texas Department of Insurance (Fraud Unit), the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office, the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud and TASIU Antifraud Supporters. The Texas Association of Special Investigation Units or TASIU is a non-profit organization and the Texas-South chapter of the International Association of Special Investigation Units. Our membership is comprised of insurance fraud investigators employed by insurance companies, self-insured corporations, the National Insurance Crime Bureau, the Texas Department of Insurance, local, state and federal law enforcement, along with claim professionals involved in or supporting insurance fraud investigations.
